Bikram Hot Yoga Studios
Since 2003, we are Albuquerque's first hot yoga and only Bikram yoga studios in the city. We are passionate and dedicated instructors certified by Bikram Choudhury to teach his renowned series of 26 asanas or postures and 2 pranayama or breathing control excerices. Each class maintains the integrity of the Bikram series and respects the lineage of gurus Bishnu Ghosh and Paramahansa Yogananda.
This yoga will change your life, so we don't change the yoga! We are 10% true to Bikram. You will feel the difference!

HOUSE RULES
We do not play music, chant, burn incense or candles or use props that may be common in other yoga studios. Here, we seek maximum relaxation, after maximum effort. You should also review our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section.
Have fun, talk and laugh before class, but here are some of the house rules that are expected of each other ~
- Always be on time. The studio doors always close 5 minutes before class, no exceptions.
- Remove your shoes and leave them in the lobby.
- Place your belongings neatly in a shelf or locker and leave the benches clear for seating.
- Silence your cell phone before you enter the studio.
- Mats and towels are required for all students and are available for rent.
- Align the front of your mat neatly with the orange row lines and be mindful of your neighbors view or the mirror
- Bring only water in the practice room, absolutely no juice or colored beverages
- No talking once the instructor begins the class
- Drink water when instructed or after the second set of a posture if needed. But, never while others are in posture.
- Go at your own pace. Your breath will save you. Stand or sit still when you need to, but try not to leave the room.
- At the end of class, in final savasana, please stay at least a few minutes to relax.
- After class, leave the room quietly. The west-side studio is on a suspended floor, so please step lightly.
- If you have rented a mat, please hang it on the ballet bar of the practice room.
- Shower quickly to allow others a turn
- If you have rented a towel, please place it in the laundry baskets near the changing rooms.
- The studio closes 30 minutes after each class. So please respect the teacher's time and leave on time.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We are commited to a safe and welcoming environment and demand respect of one another. Those that cause a disturbance or are disrespectful to the teacher or other students will be asked to leave immediately. We strive to always to the right thing with consistency, respect and integrity.
